Search Beyond Google

Hey guys,

I know you are all asked to do a lot of research for your classes, and I also know that many of you start with Google and unfortunatly end with Google as well. While Google is the most popular and maybe most powerful Search Engine, it is not always the best choice for younger students and English Language Learners.

Task One: Setting Up Gmail

Okay every one, good to see some of you here. Please email, call, or SMS your friends and get everyone on board as soon as possible. Watch the video below and follow the instructions. Basically you have two tasks right now:

  1. Create a Gmail account.

  2. Become a fan of the Community of Learning on Facebook (If you do not have a Facebook account, don’t worry, this is only for people who have accounts right now.)
